Snoring in children
Snoring in children is often caused by enlarged tonsils or adenoids, allergies, or nasal blockage. While occasional snoring is common, regular loud snoring may indicate sleep-disordered breathing or obstructive sleep apnoea.

Treatment may include:
-
Tonsil and adenoid removal if they are blocking the airway
-
Treating allergies with medication
-
Nasal sprays to reduce congestion
-
Sleep study if sleep apnoea is suspected
